Many installers build audio interconnects with RG6 coax and crimp connectors, but 75 ohm cables are only optimized for extremely high frequencies, so they sound compressed and muddy with analog audio. The best way to observe those losses is to compare an extremely short pair (we recommend 2 to 3 inches) to a long pair (10 to 20 feet) as the connection between a source and a headphone amp. Most people are surprised by how much cleaner and more dynamic the short pair sounds.
